Jillian Armstrong, MA, BCBA
Jillian Armstrong Motta, MA, BCBA, is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in New York, and a Cogmed Working Memory Training Coach at NBI. After earning her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Miami, from which she graduated with honors, Mrs. Armstrong Motta earned her M.A. from the Florida Institute of Technology in Professional Behavior Analysis. Mrs. Armstrong Motta is the Associate Director of the Executive Functioning and Behavioral Program.
Mrs. Armstrong Motta specializes in helping others understand how to obtain success and apply new skills to their day-to-day lives through behavioral change. Mrs. Armstrong Motta supports the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD), mood and anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and personality disorders. She also specializes in multiple academic content areas.
Mrs. Armstrong Motta works with you to understand how your behavior impacts future consequences and supports you in moving towards identified goals. Sessions focus on assessing the current presentation and using that information to define treatment goals; emphasis is placed on identifying and training the behaviors to support goal achievement, monitoring progress, and adjusting processes. Mrs. Armstrong Motta looks forward to helping you to acquire skills that will support you in reaching your goals!
