Wilfredo Rivera-Perez, Psy.D.

Wilfredo Rivera-Pérez is a licensed psychologist in Florida who was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He has been part of the NBI team for the past eight years and is currently the Clinical Director of NBI Coral Gables. Dr. Rivera uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies with Spanish and English-speaking patients. Diagnostic conditions he treats include Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Tourette’s, Trichotillomania, and problem behaviors associated with impulse control or frustration intolerance.  Aside from providing therapy to NBI’s patients, Dr. Rivera also supervises and consulates with other clinicians on the team.   

Dr. Rivera completed training through the IOCDF’s Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) and intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) from Behavioral Tech.
